The pain and pus discharge are associated with wisdom tooth eruption.

The pericoronal flap overlying gums got inflammed resulting in pericoronitis.

Based on clinical and radiological examination,treatment can be planned.

Tooth can be saved,if there is adequate space for tooth eruption,In such cases,operculectomy has to be done to enhance tooth eruption.
In this procedure,flap overlying impacted tooth has to be incised and removed.

If normal eruption is impossible,it has to be extracted.

Frequent warm saline rinses will relieve pain.

Maintain good oral hygiene.

Take complete course of antibiotics-analgesics as per dentist's prescription.

hi,
your wisdom tooth seems to be impacted. It grows sideways towards the front teeth. When it exerts pressure in an attempt to erupt, it causes inflammation and pain. the area is usually difficult to keep clean so there is a high risk for dental caries in the wisdom tooth and the tooth infront of it. You need to see a dentist, who will prescribe you antibiotics and analgesics for interim relief, but the wisdom tooth usually needs to be extracted to provide complete solution. or else the same problem keeps repeating every few weeks.

Your history cleary shows you are suffering from PERICORONITIS , it is inflammation of the pericoronal flap or the loose gum tissue overlying your erupting wisdom tooth .
Wisdom tooth is the last tooth to erupt in the oral cavity and often it is tilted and as the area is difficult to clean , it is more prone to infection due to lodgement of food debris , bacterial plaque and calculus in the gum pocket .
Bacterial infection in the gum tissue leads to formation of abscess , as you have mentioned the oozing seen from the gums .
i would suggest you get an OPG radiograph done for your tooth and as the tooth is coming sideways it will not erupt in straight line axis and will create pain and disconfort so go for surgical removal of the tooth by an oral surgeon .
Extraction of the tooth followed by antibiotic coverage itself will treat the loose gum tissue and abscess .

yes you are right , your left gum is inflammed and infected, this is called acute pericoronal abscess .

now all the features that you have mentioned are SIGNS of infection. they are
redness, swelling , calor (heat), dolar (pain), fever, headache, lymph adenopathy , difficulty in swallowing, increased salivation, change in phonation , bad breath and pus discharge from abscess having a sinus tract.

for this i would recommend,
you must take an intra oral x ray to see the exact location of the third molar,size and amount of bone covering it .

your xray will help you to understand whether your tooth is fully or partially IMPACTED .

the abscess related to mandibular third molar, usually perforates the lingual cortex and spread to the sub mandibular space .

abscess neglected for a long time discharge intra orally and some times extra orally too, it can also cause other space infections too.

now after consulting your dentist ,you can start with antibiotic and analgesic. under its coverage you can go for minor surgical procedure for extraction of third molar .

meanwhile you can do warm saline rinses also use chlore hexidine 2% mouthwash, this will reduce the infection , take plenty of fluids and SEMISOLID DIET till you get over with your problem.

You are having pericoronitis that means inflammation of gums due to partial eruption of wisdom teeth.
Treatment will be planned after getting proper clinical diagnosis.
If there is interruption due to flap then it needs to be removed by operculumectomy.
It might also require tooth removal if there is impaction or infection.
Also start with betadine gargles twice a day.
Consult dentist for further treatment plan.
