Hi. I guess you must have done the MRI for back pain or pain radiating down your left leg if there is concordance with the MRI findings. Please get yourself checked by a spine surgeon/ neurosurgeon for any e/o neurologic compromise or neurogenic claudication in your legs. If so and you have severe symptoms, you may need surgery for the disc prolapse and nerve compression. If not then you may need rest, prevent jerky or flexion at your spine, and analgesics/ drugs to control neuropathic symptoms. Guess I have answered your question. Thank you.
