I recently had an MRI . Here is aparagraph from the report: A few scattered foci of FLAIR signal hyperintensity in the periventricular and subcortical white matter may represent mild chronic microvascular ischemic change. Is this something to worry about? thank you.

Such hyperintense periventricular signals are very common finding in individuals. It is nothing to worry about. If you are very young below 25 then it is serious.
It is usually seen in hypertensive persons. However it is normal finding in old patients. Just dont worry about the report. You are perfectly normal.
