Mild Gastroenteritis, Pale Sclera, Anorexia. High SGPT, SGOT, ALT, WBCs, ESR. BP, Blood Sugar Normal. Causes For Elevated Values?
20 year old boy with mild gastroentritis,pale sclera, anorexia ,unthirifteness. SGPT , SGOT and ALT high and also increased WBC S and increase ESR.... temprature ,BP and blood sugar are normal.. please tell me the cause of increase of WBC S, SGPT and SGOT? sorry i m a student and i hav no money... please answer me in hurry.

Thank you for getting in touch with us. As we can see, you have an elevated SGOT, SGPT, WBC and ESR. This means that there is an inflammatory process going on in the body. Is your bilirubin elevated too? One of the most common causes of elevated SGOT and SGPT is hepatitis. It should be noted that few forms of Hepatitis can even be spread through feco-oral route like Hepatitis A n E. I would recommend you to get in touch with a local government centre where they can conduct few more tests and start off with medicines if the needs arises. Hope this helps.
