i am 26 wks pregnant and my glucose tolerance test came back at 122 is that ok?

Hi. Depends on which time the reading was taken. Usually after the first hour the reading should be > 140mg/ dL with 50g glucose. You can consult with your doctor if the test needs to be repeated. Take care

Pregnancy hormones can block insulin from doing its job. When this happens, glucose levels may increase in a pregnant woman's blood. It usually doesn't have any symptoms. So all pregnant ladies are advised to undergo a glucose-screening test between 24 and 28 weeks. Glucose tolerance test is considered positive only if the readings are more than 140mg/dl after consumption of 50g of oral glucose. So i think ur levels are absolutely perfect.
