Hi, I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your father has immune thrombocytopenia. it is immune mediated destruction of platelets. Rest all reports are normal. So you need immune supression therapy. Steroid is the drug of choice for that. So take it according to your doctor's advice. Its the perfect treatment.
