No Periods Even After Taking Prescribed Regestrone. HPT Negative. Suggest

Hi...I am married ....My gynac prescribed me Regestrone for getting the periods I took it 5 days twice daily...she told me that I will get my period within 10 days after taking 5 days regesrtone tablet....today is 9 th day...yet my period has not come..I had done pregnancy test before taking this tablets it was negative...please suggest me....what is the reason

thanks for your query.
After stopping Registrone, you would have your period within 10 days.
If you do not get your period within 2 more days, consult your gynecologist again.
There could be other reasons ( apart from pregnancy ) for the missed periods, such as stress, anxiety, hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries etc.
