On Alesse Birthcontrol, Had Severe Yeast Infection, Heart Burn After Taking Plan B Due To Condom Break. Normal Side Effects?

I am on Alesse birth control , have been for 10 years. Due o financial reasons I was 2 weeks late starting my next months pack. My boyfriend and I always use birth control and condom together, but the condom broke so I took plan B as an extra precaution. I had a really really REALLY bad yeast infection afterwords and heartburn . Are these normal side effects?
