On Flight, Had Throbbing Pain In Temples, Pin Pricking Pain All Around The Forehead, Eye Started Watering, Head Ache. Why Did This Occur?

I was travelling to boston by air...and all of a sudden i had this throbbing pain in the temples and a real pin pricking pain all around the forehead , temple area...and parts of my eye...eye started watering...and this finally culminated into a head ache when out of the flight...why did this occur...this s the second time i am having this experience.,.almost as if all the blood vessels would burst...

Hi , your symptoms while travelling by air are mostly suggestive of sinusitis which was exacerbated due to the air pressure changes that occurred during the flight .sinusitis is the inflammation of your sinuses resulting in the incomplete drainage of your sinuses . You should visit an ENT specialist who would order a couple of tests like X-ray of your sinuses and start you on the appropriate therapy to prevent it from occurring again.
