Pain In Breast. Negative Pregnancy Test. Have IUD. Underlying Cause?
Hello. I am just trying to figure out why my breast have been hurting so bad lately.. A home preg test said I was not pregnant. And I doubt highly that I am, considering I have an IUD. But, it has been almost give years since I got it, an I've never had it checked. My mom also had three pregnancies in the 70s with an iud. And another question I have is about medications.. R there any that can effect the results?
Dear nichole Relax i will surely guide you in someway Welcome to this forum 1.You have not mentioned your age and whether you have conceived before. 2.The most common cause of breast tenderness is just before you get your menstrual cycle. 3. So i suggest you wait till you get your periods because the moment you get it you will be relieved of the pain. 4.Breast tenderness is a part of condition known as premenstrual syndrome which includes fluid retention in the body, mood swings.....all this is caused due to the effect of hormones. 5. You dont worry.you just need to wait and watch. 6, There are very less chances of you being pregnant cause you have an iud. 7. If at all it does not subside, i suggest u consult a surgeon hope your satisfied with my answer Dr Edel
