Pain In Chest While Breathing. Suffering From Anxiety. Recommendations?
Hi! I keep getting a pain in my chest, yesterday it was every so often when i breathed in and out. Today I have felt it when I laugh or move sharply. I have wondered if it is wind and have taken something related to that. I do suffer a little from anxiety, I have never had any physical effects, and if anything I am getting better so I am doubtful that it will relate to that. Thanks!
Hi, Thanks for your query, Chest pain which is sharp and severe and increases on deep breathing, laughing etc is some sort of pleuritic chest pain and usually signifies infection. If it is on left side may signify an anginal pain, if you are an elderly fellow. I think you must go for chest X-ray and ECG to rule out these possibilities and if they are OK, you may just take analgesics and muscle relaxants.....
Best wishes
