Pain In Stomach After Stopping Dianne, Mild Infection, Strong Smell In Vagina. Reasons ?
Hi just want to ask I stop taking my Dianne pills last June 3. 2013. Then June 8 I have period till the 15. But then I feel little pain on my stomach so I go to my ob. She check my urine and its ok. I had Pap smear too. And I have mild inflection so she tell me to use albothyl for 3 nyts. I use it in June 29 till July 1 then at July 3 I had period again. Lots and some chuck blood for today's it's a lot. But after that it just a dot till the 7th. Then I had contact on the 8th. Then 9th but that night I smell something differnt strong in my vagina. My husband said mybe coz I stop my pills. But I am worried coz I never had this before.
The smell in your urine is certainly because of the infection and will subside if the infection is adequately treated.
But what I am worried about is the menorrhagia and clots. I would request you to go about a transvaginal scan (TVS) along with a speculum examination to find/rule out other more common causes of such a bleed.
If this is indeed a withdrawal bleed due to the use of diane pills, it should not last for so long. Please consult your doctor, and also get your serum iron and hemoglobin levels checked, just to be on tbe safer side.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
