Pain In The Hips And Ankle. Not Able To Lift. Treatment For Pain?
Good morning. Hope you are well. I have painful hips bilateral for a long time now. If I sit to long I have trouble getting up and standing straight. Recently my left ankle became painful, more so when I lift my foot upwards. I cycle regularly and at times my ankle become to painful to continue. I consume red meat once a day. I am 1.68m tall and my weight is 70kg. I drink 1.5l of water daily. In your professional opinion what do you think is wrong and what can I do conservatively to improve my pain? From description pain over your ankle seems to be inflammatory in nature. It could be due to acute attack of gout. I suggest you to get it evaluated to rule out any infective pathology. Take antiinflamatory drug like ibuprofen to reduce pain and inflammation .
