Pain On The Right Of Chest, Feeling Of Squeezing On Inhaling Deeply, Had Slight Coughing Before The Incident. Advice?
Hi, my right side of my chest beneath my ribcage started hurting out of nowhere. Whenever I turn my body in that direction or inhale I get like a seizing feeling and don t want to continue to inhale. When I inhale deeply it feels like something on that side is being squeezed, like a ball. When I inhale lightly I can feel it but it isn t as painful. I don t know if it s relevant but a few minutes before a few breaths had caused slight coughing.
Dear Fifilacota, hello
Pain in right side of chest can be due to many reasons. Some of them are:-
1. Muscle sprain 2. Any infection of the lungs
3. Inflamation of the pleura which is a layer covering the lungs
4. Inflamation in the liver
5. Gall bladder disease
6. Any injury on that side
You should get yourself examined by a Physican and get investigated for :-
1. Complete Blood Count
2. Liver Function Test
3. S.Amylase
4. S. Lipase
5. Ultrasound Abdomen
6. Chest X-Ray PA view
I hope this may help you.
Thanks and take care.
