hello dr. According to my mri reports of left knee i have - a partial acl tear. subtle stir hypersensitivity noted in the medial femoral condyle suggestive of marrow edema/contusions. Grade l signal noted in posterior horn of medial meniscus . Mild hypersensitivity is noted in the inner fibres of the lateral collateral ligament . I d be glad if you could tell me the precautions i must take before i get the acl reconstruction surgery done and until how long can i avoid getting the surgery before furthering the damages. It is better to get surgery as soon as possible. no rapid and jerky movements of the knee. slow movements can be permitted.
