Pitting Edema In Lower Legs, Dizziness, Varicose Veins On Legs, Pelvis. Due To Adderall Or Cold?
I have had symptoms of pitting edema in my lower legs and some intense dizziness . mainly upon changing postions. Last night the edema was the same or worse than in my pregancies. I have quite signifcant vericose viens in legs, pelvic , and lower abdomenal area. I am wondering if the adderall I take could be causing the swelling or if I should go in to be seen. I have a diurectic that I have not yet picked up. At thismoment I do have a cold. Could the cold be causing any of this?
Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. Pitting edema in lower legs is a sign of fluid overload which is seen in renal and cardiac problems. Cold and Adderall is not the cause for your legs edema. You need to see the doctor for clinical examination and investigations such as serum creatinine, blood urea, 2D Echo, and other investigations. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
