I have gone through your question. You have been diagnosed with thrombophlebitis, which is inflammation of vessel due to formation of blood clots. It appears to be to superficial thrombophlebitis that why you are given only tab clopitab, which prevents platelet aggregation; an important step in clot formation. You can use Aspirin which have both anti-inflammatory and anti-platelets properties along with graduated compression in form of compression stocking of the affected area. Furthermore, you need in detail assessment of the affected limb, there might be thrombi in deep vein, which might dislodge leading to catastrophic consequence. Wishing you rapid recovery.
