Pregnancy After Inserting Mirena IUD Can Be Ectopic?
I have had mirena inserted just over a year ago after the birth of my first child. I took a pregnancy test after not feeling well for a few days and got a quick positive. Doctors office confirmed positive test and gave me an ultrasound. The ultrasound didn t detect a pregnancy of any kind. My iud is perfectly in place and uterine lining is very thin. .5 mm I think. They took blood to test hcg and I go back in two days for another hcg test. Is this ectopic?

Yes mam it can lead to ectopic pregnancy.
Progesterone increases chances of getting ectopic tubal ectopic pregnancy.
You need to get a bHCG test today and then repeat after 48 hours in case it rises but doesn't get doubled up then it indicateshould pregnancy
