Pregnancy Card Test Positive. Not Using Contraceptive Regularly. Pregnancy Card Accurate? Don T Want Pregnancy
My wife has visited gynecologist today for other reason but there in preg card test shown positive. how much accurate it is? last menses was approx 1 month before & menses are not regular since 7-8 years. we have 2 kids our smaller baby is 5.5 yrs old. we r not using contraceptive regularly since 4 yrs. but for unknown reasons wife didn't get pregnant in this period so i have doubt on preg card accuracy? we don't want pregnancy what to do now?
The pregnancy card test is a senstive test.
A positive pregnancy test is confirmatory of pregnancy.
Since, the last menstrual cycle was 4 months back, the period of gestation is 6 weeks.
The medical termination of pregnancy can be safely done at 6 weeks of gestation.
Pregnancy occurs as a result of mating of sperm and ovum.
Inappropriate timing of intercourse will not result in conception and hence pregnancy.
Thanks and take care
