Pregnant. Miprogen, Lupi Hcg 5000 Prescribed. Why?

My wife is carrying 15 weeks pregnancy at present and she has been prescribed miprogen 200 capsules once daily after dinner with other medicine (folmet, g-reg-sr-500), till yesterday she has also been prescribed Lupi-HCG-5000 HP once in every week now stopped from today and onwards. my question is " why miprogen-200 ? is there anything wrong?

Thanks for the query.
Miprogen 200 contains progesterone.
Progesterone hormone helps in maintenance of pregnancy.
Usually this is used in case of any previous miscarriage and if there is hormonal deficiency in present pregnancy.
But some doctors will put it as prophylactic measure in normal pregnancy also.
So if the baby condition is good and if there are no complications no need to worry.
