Pregnant, Ultrasound Done. Is Everything Fine?

Hi! Am maricar, 30. Lmp-8/12/2012.i just had my ultrasound earlier and this was the impression: Single, live intrauterine pregnancy, 36 0/7 weeks composite sonar age in cephalic presentation...placentananterior, high lying gradeb2.....normohydramnios....SEFW is large for AOG (90th percentilebfor 34 weeks is 2750g) suggest serial growth monitoring. In fetal biometry i read EFW: 2981g(based on hadlock)...pls help me clarrying things out...am so worried, guess its not normal...thank you!

Thanks for submitting your question. From your USG report what i can find is you got a single live foetus inside the uterus,placenta is attached anteriorly which usually attaches on the posterior side but anterior attachment is also normal . Placenta may migrate in later half of rhe pregnancy. The amniotic fluid is normal which is good.
The expected foetal weight is slightly higher than normal but you neednot have to worry , it may become normal in the later half of the pregnancy. But strict foetal monitoring is required throughtout the pregnancy . Please discuss the issue with your doctor and subject yourself for periodic monitoring. Best wishes
