Hi

welcome to health care magic,

Norethisterone is a progestin used to delay the period .

Its half life is 7hrs i.e half of it leaves the body by 7 hrs .

Norethisterone has been shown to decrease the growth of the baby in the womb,

hence it should not be taken during pregnancy.

Kindly consult your gynaecologist at the earliest if u have a doubt regarding

pregnancy

Hope you find this helpful
