Recurring Headache. Taking Indocin, Percot, Pain Coming Back After 6 Hours. How To Overcome This?

I have bad headaches off and on all day every day. I was on Indocin. but just got out of the hospital It tore my stomach up Had to have iron and blood. (indomethacin) They put me on percot. but it only lasts about 6 hours and the pain is back. The indomethacin lasted me 24 hours and only had to take one every night. Is there something else I can take that will work?

Hi, thank your for posting.

I read carefully and I understood your concerns. Headache is frequent and sometimes it is caused by unknown reasons. It can be treated by simple analgezic.
In your case it is necessary to make a neurological examination. This examination will determine the causes and the appropriate treatment.
Until you make the examination you should take
Valproic acid(Depakine) 500mg
or you can use this
Gabapentin(Neurontin) 300mg

You also need:
neck and head x-ray.
electroencephalography(EGG)
Ct scan and magnetic resonance.
