Shakiness, Cold And Hot Flashes, Headache, Sleeplessness, Bodyache. See The Doctor?

18 years old. I suddenly started feeling unwell lastnight, having the shakes, cold , hot, really bad headache , couldnt sleep much, achy pain all over my body, and this morning the bottom of my back hurts and my legs. By looking on the internet it seems like some sort of flu? Im just wondering wether its worth going to see a doctor? Or wether im best to carry on taking paracetamol and staying in bed?

DEAR SIR/MADAM

CERTAINLY THESE ARE EARLY SYMPTOMS OF FLU, IT IS CAUSED BY VIRAL INFECTION OF RESPIRATORY WHICH MIGHT LEAD TO SECONDARY BACTERIAL INFECTION.
IT IS OFTEN SELF LIMITING, NO NEED TO TAKE ANY ANTIBIOTICS, ONLY ANTIPYRETICS WITH ANALGESICS ARE QUITE ENOUGH TO CONTROL IT. PARACETAMOL MIGHT BE ENOUGH, BUT CONSIDERING ADDING ACECLOFENAC 100 MG WITH IT.
SECONDLY CONSIDER CERTAIN BLOOD INVESTIGATIONS
1. COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT
2. PLATELET COUNT

MAINTAIN ADEQUATE HYDRATION, CONTROL FEVER THAT WILL DO ALL.

THANKS
