Sharp Cramps, Bleeding With Blood Clot After Colonoscopy. Is It Normal?
I had a colopscopy 10 days ago and was fine up until day 6. I started getting sharp cramps an my left side, the tissue was taken from the right, and enough bleeding to change pantyliners every few hours. I just used the bathroom and noticed a large almost quarter size blood clot about 3 thick. Is this something I should be worried about or is it normal after a colopscopy?

hi.. it is normal to have bleeding after colposcopy examination.. it is also common to have cramps after undergoing this procedure, if it is causing too much of discomfort, you can take antispasmodics for it..see your gynaecologist for the prescription and to know the dosage and schedule of the drug.. all the very best..
