Should I Be Worried About Small Venous Lake Frontal Skull Bone Found Through A CT-scan?
I fell down icy steps and hit my head. I had a CT Scan the doctor said everything was fine.. But he found a small venous lake frontal skull bone left side.Dr said nothing to worry about. He told me to follow up with my primary doctor for an MRI. Should I be worried? Is this serious?
Small venous lake in left frontal skull bone is most likely due to venous hemangioma. These are benign incidental findings. These are the tangle of blood vessels and it doesn't require any treatment unless these are symptomatic. Hemangioma are most frequently found in the calvarium, particularly in the parietal and frontal bones. Hope i have answered your query.
