Should I Meet Gastrointestinal Doctor For Blood In Stool, Bloating And Acidity?
I am a 34 y/o female; healthy... history: have hemrohoids that are prolapsed, kidney stones... my problem is I've been having blood in stool (bright red/lots of it) swollen abdomen (feels like gas), extreamly tired, very smelly gas (lots of it), my still has be very soft plus smaller than usual. Does anyone know what this could be? I have an appointment for a colonoscopy (Spelling) this friday but it has gotten worse just in a week (while im waiting for this colonoscopy appointment) should I be worried? Should I contact to gastrointestinal doc about my continued symptoms?
Fresh Red Blood in your stool suggests something that is in the lower GI. It may be a bleeding polyp, simple hemorrhoids or an anal fissure but that is usually painful. Till you wait for the colonoscopy, take Cap. Esomeprazole 40mg one before breakfast, also take Tab. Itopride 150mg one before breakfast. Also you may take Syrup Dijex MP two tablespoonsful thrice daily for symptomatic relief
