Should I See Endocrinologist As Having Nightcramps In Sore Leg And Palpitations?
I d be grateful for your advice on the following: i m 68 years young; been on .05 Eltroxin for approx 10 years; getting very bad nightcramps in sore legs & palpitations. My GP prescribed Potassium and I also take Magnesium with it. My TSH was 4,6 in July 12. I d like to stop taking the Eltroxin because I think it is causing my problems. Should I see a local endocrinologist.

Once you have to start eltroxin, then the only dose can be changed according to needs but medicine should not be stopped without medical advice.
As far as cramps are concerned there could be multiple reasons for it a. Consult your orthopaedic surgeon for the diagnosis and treatment.
