Sore Around Anus, Hurts When Sitting. Had A Blood Clot In Legs. Done Colonoscopies. Right Medication?

I hurt when I sit down. It is around my anus. It is sore. I have been in pain for over two years. I have been to 4 doctors, and had 2 colonoscopies during this time. I am an older female and I am healthy. I had a blood clot in my legs four years ago. I can stand, walk around and shop ;-) but I cannot sit down. I use 2 cushions to sit on with a gap in the middle so nothing touches my anus. I really need help. I do not feel that I have proctalgia, nor levator ani, so these are not the answers.

HI,
After reading your query it appears that you may have developed Folliculitis of area. It is simple infection and infalmmation in the oil gland. Do not worry it do not cause any future problem. It either gets resolved by itself or can be excised easily. Do not try to pinch or squeeze the lesion as it can cause secondary infection. YOu can take a pain killer like paracetamol if pain is high.
