Sore Throat For 3 Weeks, Body Pain, Headache, Swollen Lymph Nodes. Taking Zpac. What Could Be This?

Hello, I have had a sore throat for three weeks now. I had a zpac at home, so trying to avoid a trip to the doctor, I went ahead and took it to try to rid myself of illness. After I finished the zpac my sore throat continued and I went to my primary care physician. I was cultured for strep and it came back negative. A week later my throat is as sore as ever along witih body aches, fatigue, and headache. I went back to my PCP who prescribed another zpac after I told her the first one did not work. My throat has prominent red and purple veins on it and the lymph nodes on the left side seem to be swollen. I have had no fever. Any ideas as to what this could be?

these are sinus infections and sinuses are cleared very fast with metronodazole 200 mg bd you can take for 7 days as they are BEST TO CLEAR INFECTION
AS THE MUCUS DRIPS IN THROAT IT CAUSES SOAR THROAT
AND MUCUS OF THE THROAT ADD ANTIALLERGIC TAB TO DECREASE THE MUCUS SECRETIONS OF SINUSES
ADD ANTACID
APPLY NEOMYCIN H OINTMENT IN NOSE BD AND SEA WATER 2 DROPS AT NIGHT IN EACH NOSE TO CLEAR back of the throat
CAN TAKE ANALGESIC SOS FOR PAIN
GET XRAY PNS WATERS VIEW TO SEE THE CONDITION OF SINUSES AND CONSULT ENT DOCTOR TO TREAT AND TO PREVENT RECURENCES IF SINUSES OEDEMA IS THERE
CONTINUE TO TREAT THIS EPISODE FOR 3 WK
