Soreness And Swelling In The Gum After Wisdom Tooth Removal. Sore Tonsils. Is It Normal?
Hello, my bottom jaw where my wisdom teeth should be on the right side is very sore. I feel like it is swelling . It hurts doing nothing and when i talk or eat or anything the pain is almost unbearable. I have had my wisdom teeth removed so I know it isn t that. On the Same side my tonsils are very sore. What could this be?
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. The symptom of pain in the gums extended to the pharynx suggests that there must be some infection either of the gums from where the wisdom tooth is removed, or the caries tooth of the tooth in front of the wisdom tooth, tonsillitis, or pharyngitis .
I advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeon, for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have culture and sensitivity of throat swab for confermation of the infection.
Wishing for a quick recovery .
Thanks for calling.
