Squiggly Lines On Periphery Of Vision, Numbness Near Ear, Eye Pressure Varies
My wife is experiencing squiggly lines on the periphery of her vision in the left eye. Lines seem to be straighter in the middle of her vision. This began within the past 2-3 hours. These appear then go away and then return. Also a slight numbness around the left ear. Ears feel plugged. Pressure on her eye varies and is more when the aura appears.
Hello, The symptoms you have mentioned here like squiggy lines on peripheral vision are indicative of migraine head ache. They are typically seen in the phase of aura which is seen before the phase of head ache. These symptoms are relieved by treatment of migraine, specially by prophylactic drugs to prevent migraine attacks. If she is not on treatment, I advice you to consult your physician for evaluation and treatment. Thank you
