I read your query regarding your sore throat in the form of two white bumps one on the right tonsil and other above it , your problem is limited to right half of throat and the right ear is also giving you weird feeling as heavyness and blocked. whenever you take ibuprofen you feel better. Though you have been examined by doctor twice and they are saying as it is allergic and there may be possibility of viral co-infection. No doubt you are having an infective pathology in your throat and ear and it is called as tonsillopharyngitis with acute otitis media. Your infection of throat had involved the pharyngeal opening of eustachian tube and due to inflammatory swelling it gets blocked and thus there developed negative pressure in middle ear of right side, which is giving you weired feeling of heavyness and blocked ear of right side. To treat it you should take- (a) Antibiotic. (b) Anti inflammatory. (c) Anti allergic & Decongestant. (d) Warm saline gargling and steam inhalation. As per your observation white bumps on tonsil may be tonsillar cyst, which remain for quite a long time asymptomatic, but this may be diagnose by examination by an ENT doctor, if tonsillar cyst is diagnosed by your ENT doctor than tonsillectomy operation is the only curative treatment for this.
