Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
You have subclinical hypothyroidism, that caused you leg pain and lethargy, I am happy to know that everything improved after taking supplementation of Thyroxine.
Please continue to take your treatment it is not harmful at all, It can be cured or not it depends on what caused this, if it is autoimmune destruction of thyroid than supplementation is continuous and it if it inflammatory and temporary pathology it may be cured.
Follow up with Physician is essential. In future to decide dose of Thyroxine supplement.
there's no hypothyroidism diet. Although claims about Iodine but it is only effective if deficiency is there and now a days salt is Iodized in most of the places.
It is best to take this empty stomach, some food item and drugs can interfere with this, walnut, calcium supplements,Antacids,Sucralfate, and Soybean flour.
Hope this helps,
Take care.
Good Luck.
