Suffer From Spinal Stenosis, Spondylosis And Chronic Tendonitits In Shoulders. Taking Avinza And Oxycodone. Are Kadian And Oxycontin Similar Medication?
I have severe spinal stenosis ,spondylolthesis with pars defect spondylosis and chronic tendinitis in both shoulders.i was taking 90 mil of Avinza time release and 30 mil oxycodone for break through pain,I changed insurance and can no longer afford Avinza,my pharmist. Suggestined either kadian or oxycotin what do you think?

This kind of pain may be due to compression of nerve due to spinal disc bulge. Nerve compression leads radiating pain,with tingling and numbness which is aggravated in particular position. You need to consult orthopedic surgeon for clinical examination.
Till that time take tab methylcobalamine 1500mcg once daily and painkiller when required
You may need MRI spine to look for nerve compression.
