Dear Sir/ Madam Thanks for your query to us. Pain in left hand finger will bring 3 important things. 1. Cardiac pain 2. Local pain 3. Neurological pain A cardiac pain will come on exertion/ running/using stairs/ carrying weights/ exercise and will be relieved by rest. It may be solely restricted to fingers or may involve arm or chest. It may be accompanied by sweating/shortness of breath/ nausea. A neurological pain can be sudden electrical sensation or dull boring pain or burning sensation. It will not be effected by movement. It may be associated with weakness of muscle or abnormal sensation or decrease in sensation. A local pain will most probably be elicited by movement or touch. It may be associated with trauma or pain in other joints. Hope this helps. Sincerely Sukhvinder
