Suffering From Itching In Groin Area And Athletes Foot. Are They Related?
groin started itching on tuesday, thought it was jock itch, started treating for that, the pain, redness is getting worse, i see raw skin developing, very painful is this jock itch or someting else. I just returned from 5 months army training, had worse case of athletes foot , took two treatments of oral medicine and cream to fix, could this be related.

Hello.itching in the groin is mainly fungal infection called tinea infection .it may be related to athelites foot if it is associated by tinea pedis.use antihistamine antifungal treatment .tinea cruris is mainly due to excessive sweating
