Suggest Advice For Controlling Nose Bleeding From Cauterization
I recently had my nose cauterized and last night I pulled out some mucus in my nose but part of it was attached to what was cauterized and then it started bleeding and I put a small piece of cotton with vasceline in my nose to go to bed. I took it out this morning and now I am worried it will start bleeding again? What do I do?
Hi, thanks for query. First of all , cauterization is done to arrest bleeding. Dont meddle with your nise. What you pulled out was the healed scab on the wound. Good now bleeding is controlled. If bleefing occurs again then just lue dosn , hold your nose tight, put ice Cube on your nose and put decongestant nasal drops 3 drops both nostrils. If I were your treating doctor would have prescribed decongestant nasal drops containing oxymetazoline 0.1 % 3 drops thrice daily for 5 days along with decongestant tablet for 5 days. If still bleeding is seen , then take medical assistance. Hope my answers have helped you.
