Suggest Alternative Medicine For Levothyroxin
Hi,my mom had Hypothyroid and she has been given 50mg of Levothyroxin.She is a heart patient too.The medicine is causing extreme fatigue,headache and mostly palpitation.She is unable to get up from bed.I would like to know if there is any alternative medicine .She lives in Bangalore,India.Thanks...

See in heart patient Levothyroxin should be started in low dose like 12.5 mcg or 25 mcg . So these extreme fatigue,headache and mostly palpitation might be because of high dosage and not wrong treatment . So just reduce the Dosage to 25mcg and observe what happens .
How is her present cardiac status ? as if her heart problem is not controlled the same symptoms can happen . If her heart check up has been done recently then fine else get her heart check up done .
