The cause of ear pain might be Eustachian tube blockage or the nasal infection transmission to ear.Eustachian tube connects middle ear with the nose and is responsible for equalization of middle ear pressure with outer atmospheric pressure.In case of blockage of the tube,it may lead to negative middle ear pressure with fluid collection in the middle ear which might be a cause of ear pain.
You are giving all medicine appropriate for this condition.
You can also give your child Analgesic with Antiinflammatory like Ibuprofen.
Also give him warm fluids.Avoid cold food and dust.
If after 2 days,his complains are not improving,then it would be advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist doctor.
