MEDICAL HISTORY- I HAVE BEEN APPLYING ACNESOL AND PERSOL 5 WITH TAB AZIFAST FROM LAST 1 AND A HALF MONTH. AND MY TREATMENT FOR ACNE IS GOING FROM 5 MONTHS.

HI DOC, I M TAKING AZIFAST 500 FOR MY ACNE. BUT IT IS QUITE COSTLY FOR ME. SO, MAY I KNOW A SUBSTITUTE FOR THIS TABLET WHICH IS CHEAPER THAN THIS(OF ANY OTHER COMPANY)

As per your complain Azifast contains Azithromycin as an active ingredient and it is an antibiotic..
There can be cheaper substitues available with similar composition and you need to consult your local pharmacist and discuss with him so that he can provide you with cheaper brands with similar composition as commercial brands can vary from region to region..
Along with it you should continue Persol that contains benzoyl peroxide and Acnesol that contains Clindamycin phosphate..
You can also apply retinoids like Adapelene gel at night in a thin layer over pimples..
You can also do cool compresses over pimples..
Use Salicylic acid facewash to wash your face..
Exfoliate your skin twice a week..
