Suggest Cure For Cough And Running Nose

Hi, my one year old has had a fever about 102 now for 3 days, a cough that is phlegm and a runny nose. She is drinking but not eating much. I have been giving her ibuprophen every 6 hours and it is still about 100 after I give it to her. I have been taking her temperature under her armpit. I brought her to the doctor and they said her lungs sounded ok and they did a strep test but that came back negative....should I bring her in again? Or what could be wrong with her?

I gone through your question understand your concern.your 1 year child is having fever since last 3 days you visit doctor and doctor done strep test. which is negative and you are so worried. Most common cause of fever with cough is viral. sometime it can take 5 days to recover. so as you visit doctor and strep test is negative. you should wait for 2 more days fever will come down.
