weight loss is a slow process and requires much commitment and will power, rather people who have propensity to gain weight should adopt lifestyle modification rather than short term weight loss. you need to follow a few rules in order to achieve your goals. eat food with more protein and fibre than carbohydrates, eat vegetables, fruit and pulses more than pasta, rice and bread. start one of those online food diaries that help you count calories and keep your proportion under control. avoid all sweets including fruit juices. also introduce some form of workout into your routine, something you can manage long term, a run or swimming, cycling etc you will have to be patient and the results will become obvious in months, but once the change starts you'll be able to appreciate how it continues since with time your food and working out habits stick. join a group of people with the same goal to stay motivated. allow yourself one cheat day per week to avoid your cravings. you'll see the difference and unlike the quick fix diets the effects will be long lasting.
