I had a torn Meniscus on my right knee, and had surgery to remove a small portion of it. I dance hula and sometime it requires me to kneel and sit but unfortunately I cannot sit fully on my right knee. it feels like something is stretching under my knee cap area, is there some kind of excise that I could do to be able to sit when I kneeling completely?

Hi welcomer to HCM
For your info, A torn meniscus occurs because of trauma caused by forceful twisting or hyper-flexing of the knee joint. It is natural, in the process of healing after surgery ,some portion at the stitch squeezes and makes it difficult yo kneel comptely without pain .
Symptoms of a torn meniscus include knee pain, swelling, popping, and giving way.
It is possible to kneel completely after surgical removal of torn meniscus by
exercise - stretching ,bending -front and back, gently
Gental massage with olive oil for long time can help in the strengthening and softening the muscles, making more menurable helping you
achieve your goal .
Hope it helps solve your query . Take care .All the best .
