Hello, My name is kashmin. Recently like from lst year i am being attacked by pimples and acne. I am doing regular exercise thinking of cleaning toxins by sweating and drinking lot of water but still i am very frustrated as they are not going away. Please help what should i do?
As you said you have acne vulgaris. It is a multifactorial disease. There may be genetic tendency. There may be some factors responsible for your lesions. Stress, anxiety, hormonal factors, sleeplessness, drugs like steroids, oily food, dandruff, sun exposure..etc might precipitate or exacerbate the lesions. Antibiotics like azithromycine or minocycline in proper doses may be taken for few months. Isotretnoin may be helpful to reduce the severity of the lesions. Application of clindamycine or benzoyl peroxide on the lesions might improve the condition. Avoid suspected factors. You may be alright after few months. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
