hi doctor... my mother was taking insulin injection for 6 months... sugar did not get controlled... now she started taking gemer 2 tablet .... now she has reduced 10 kgs in 3 months..... what is the next step i should take in case of her health....( age 50... no bp... diabetics- past 3 years0

Dear sir i understand your concern.Dear sir just taking insulin will not control your sugars,it should be given in a proper dose and should be monitored but home blood sugar management.she lost weight inspite of taking insulin shows that her sugars are not under control.
In my opinion she should take insulin for some days and control her sugars then shift to tablets.
i need to know her Hba1c and fasting ppbs serum creatinine for suggesting her treatment
