Suggest Remedy For Itchy Rash In Neck Spreading To Arms And Chest After Taking Antibiotics

My 19 year old daughter is taking antibiotics and this morning her neck was covered in an itchy sunburn type rash. I have given her 2 x Telfast capsules - 180g but the rash is still spreading under her arms down her forearms and across her chest. Should we just keep an eye or her or should we seek medical advice. My sister is anaphylaxis.

I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely allergic urticaria due to the antibiotic. You should stop the drug and approach your doctor.For such cases I treat with antihistamines like cetirizine calamine lotion for local application which gives a soothing effect.In severe cases I give corticosteroid and antihistamine injection.You should also note the drug which cause you allergy, and you can tell in future if any doctor prescribes it again for you.Hope this may help you.
