Suggest Remedy For Relieving Pain Between Eyebrows And On Forehead After Head Injury Due To Concussion

Due to a head injury stemming from a football concussion, my son has headaches every day lasting for short periods. He has had it for the last 2 months. Its right between his eyebrows and sometimes on the forehead. It doesnt go away and it doesnt get better. What can you recommend to relieve his pain.

Hello dear, I understand your concern. Most of the head injuries are not serious. In your case as head injury was caused by a football, I feel that there would'nt be any major internal damage.

Superficial head injuries usually cause pain at site of injury only. As in your case pain is usually inbetween eyebrow. This type of pain may be caused by some refractory errors. I would refer such cases to ophtalmologist to have an eye examination. For pain you may take over the counter drugs like paracetamol. But eye examination would be advisable first.

Hope I got your concern answered. Wish your son a good health.
