Suggest Treatment Foe Sinus Infection
I recently got a sinus infection and had yellow mucus starting about 5 days ago. Recently (i attributed to high altitude/dry air due to my first winter in Utah) I noticed blood in the drainage. Also recently (2 days ago) it started to smell like rotting garbage. Should I be worried about something lodged in my sinuses?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having acute sinusitis giving rise to collection of exudate in sinus producing particular smell.
Due to cold weather there might be having congestion in your nasal cavity giving rise to blood stained discharge.
Go for X-ray PNS ( para nasal sinuses ) to see the infection.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Take decongestant medicine for 2-3 days.
Take vicks vapor inhalation.
Ok and take care.
