Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. It seems you were started on antibiotic without culture and the for the antibiotic started, bacteria appears to be resistant.
2. Change of antibiotic to fluoroquinolones should be helpful. However, also get an urine culture and sensitivity done for identifying sensitive antibiotic to bacteria, if this fails.
3. Drink plenty of water. Take paracetamol for fever, as necessary.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
